OT · End to End

Every phase of the plant's life.
One team that knows it.

Design and architecture, networking, cybersecurity, compliance, upgrades, incident response, disaster recovery, new projects, and the support in between. We have run OT in critical infrastructure for decades, and we stay with the site after the project closes.

Most OT problems live between teams.

The integrator built it. IT owns the firewall. Controls owns the PLCs. A consultant wrote the assessment. When something breaks, or an upgrade is due, or the auditor shows up, nobody holds the whole picture.

We do. One team covers the architecture, the network, the security, and the paperwork, so the plan you approve is the plan that gets built, defended, and recovered.

The full OT lifecycle.

01

Design and Architecture

Reference architectures sized to the plant and reviewed with operations.

  • Purdue Model and IEC 62443 zones and conduits
  • Industrial DMZ and remote access design
  • IT/OT boundary and identity design
  • Standards your integrators can build to
02

Industrial Networking

Audit, design, configuration, and troubleshooting of plant networks.

  • As-built drawings of what is actually on the wire
  • VLAN, QoS, and redundancy (DLR, PRP/HSR, MRP, RSTP)
  • Slow HMIs, PLC dropouts, broadcast storms
  • Industrial Ethernet training
03

OT Cybersecurity

Hardening, segmentation, and monitoring built around how the process runs.

  • Firewall policy and segmentation
  • Asset inventory and vulnerability management
  • Sensor placement for Claroty, Nozomi Networks, Dragos
  • 24/7 monitoring through our managed SOC
See the managed SOC →
04

Compliance Assessments

Gap assessments and audit prep your operators can live with.

  • NERC CIP
  • IEC 62443 and NIST SP 800-82
  • TSA security directives and AWIA
  • Remediation roadmaps with real priorities
05

Upgrades and Migrations

Modernize without losing production.

  • Control system and network refresh planning
  • End-of-life hardware and software replacement
  • Lab proof of concept before cutover
  • Staged changes inside outage windows
06

Incident Response

OT-aware response that keeps safety and uptime first.

  • OT incident response plans and playbooks
  • Tabletop exercises with operations and IT
  • Triage, containment, and forensics on plant systems
  • Coordination with vendors, insurers, and regulators
07

Disaster Recovery

Get the process back, in the right order.

  • Backups for PLC, HMI, historian, and network configs
  • Recovery runbooks and restore testing
  • Golden images and spares strategy
  • Business impact and recovery time targets
08

New Projects

Security and network design in from day one on greenfield and expansions.

  • Owner's representative on OT projects
  • Design reviews and vendor requirements
  • FAT and SAT security testing
  • Commissioning and turnover packages
09

Ongoing Support

A senior team on call after the project closes.

  • Retained engineering and security support
  • Change review before work hits production
  • Fractional OT security leadership
  • Training for controls and IT staff

How an engagement runs

  1. 01 · Assess

Walk the site, talk to operations, inventory the systems, and document how things actually run today.

  2. 02 · Design

Architecture, security controls, and recovery plans, reviewed with operations before anything changes.

  3. 03 · Implement and validate

Lab proof of concept first, then staged changes in outage windows, with testing after each step.

  4. 04 · Hand off and support

Drawings, configurations, and runbooks for your team, plus training and follow-up support.

Built for the people who run and build plants.

Plant and facility owners

Utilities, water and wastewater, power, oil and gas, manufacturing, and chemical operations.

System integrators

A networking specialist to bring in on a project, under your contract or ours.

OEMs and vendors

Reference network designs, proof-of-concept testing, and training for your field teams.

Engagements are confidential by default. We do not publish client names.

Questions we get.

Do you replace our integrator?

No. We work alongside your integrator and your controls team. We give everyone the same picture of the site, and we can review or validate the integrator's work.

Can you work on live production networks?

Yes, carefully. Discovery starts with passive methods such as TAPs and SPAN ports. Changes are proven in a lab first, then staged inside agreed outage windows with a rollback plan.

Can you help during an active incident?

Yes. Call or email and we will triage with your team, with safety and production first. Clients with a retainer and a pre-built response plan get the fastest start.

Do you sell hardware?

We are vendor-neutral and do not resell hardware. Recommendations come from what fits your plant, your support model, and your existing standards.

How does this connect to security monitoring?

Monitoring platforms are only as good as the traffic they can see. We place SPANs and TAPs, size sensors, and baseline normal traffic, then hand off to your team or to our managed SOC.

What does an engagement cost?

Corvo work is time and materials with weekly transparency. Scope a call first and we will give you a realistic range once we know the site count and what you need.

Start anywhere in the lifecycle.

A new project, an upgrade, an audit, or a bad day on the plant floor. Tell us about the site and what you are facing. A 30-minute confidential call is enough to scope next steps.
